Completed B.E. Mechanical at Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal. Anna

University, Chennai in April 2013 and secured 8.16CGPA.

Completed higher secondary at NSMVPS Higher Secondary School, Devakottai

in March 2009 and secured 79.8%.

Completed 10th standard at Subabharathi VBHS, Pudukkottai in April 2007 and

secured 84%.

Project Details

Main Project

Title Strain measurement on hemp and flax fiber blended with polyester resin

Scope Since fiber composites are widely used in many applications nowadays, there is a

need to study and measure their strain in order to improve their strength.

Duration & Team Size The duration of the project is six months and there are four

members in the team.

Project Description The fibers and resin were mixed together in the ratio of 1:2 and 1:3.

After the fabrication of the composite material we measured various mechanical

properties. We concluded that the material can be used as a substitute for many materials

and wider applications.

Mini project

Title Mini Battery Truck

Scope As the fossil fuels depleting at faster rate, there is a need to replace fuel with

alternate source of energy. Hence the alternate source of energy used here is Battery.

Duration & Team Size The duration of the project was three months and the team

consisted of three members.

Project Description By replacing battery over engine we can reduce emission and

prevent our environment from global warming. We concluded that battery vehicles will

play a vital role in forthcoming years.

Presented a paper on “Antilock Braking System” in “MECHNITORZ” hosted by

Tagore Institute of Engineering and Technology, Attur, Salem on 29.02.2012.

Presented a paper on “Antilock Braking System” in “Asthraa” hosted by

Karpagam University, Coimbatore on 02.03.2012.

Presented a paper on “Electric Battery Vehicles” presented in “YANTHRA”

hosted by Mahendra College of Engineering, Salem on 10.03.2012.

Training and Workshop

Attended a two days Workshop on “Testing of Engineering Materials” on

17.12.2011 & 18.12.2011 conducted by PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
