To Whom It May Concern,
I am a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist seeking employment in a
surgical setting. I graduated top of my class and attained a record setting
score for my program on the AST certification exam. I am comfortable in the
OR and fully confident in my ability to utilize the skills I have learned
to benefit each patient as well as fellow members of the surgical team. I
thoroughly enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and am
always ready to do my part in improving the lives of others.
My externship experience at the University of Chicago included primary
Scrub role in a variety of over one hundred cases and frequent circulating
duties, both of which I performed exceptionally. I also temporarily worked
with a private surgeon where I gained experience in pre- and post-operative
patient care and decontamination/sterilization of surgical instrumentation
and equipment.
I have now relocated to Cleveland, TN where I was raised, have a strong
support system, and am now seeking long-term employment. I have attached a
copy of my resume for your review and request that you consider giving me
the opportunity to contribute all I have to offer as an employee at your
facility.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!
Sincerely,
Kristin Butler CST
