DESCRIPTION
In this project the quality of the power is to improve by using grid
interfacing inverter at point of common coupling. This project mainly explains a novel
control strategy for achieving maximum benefits from the grid interfacing inverter
when installed in 3 phase 4 wire distribution system. In addition to the functions of
inverter, the features of active passive filter (APF) are incorporated in conventional
grid inverter without any additional hardware cost. Through this strategy the PQ
constraints at the PCC can be strictly maintained within the utility standards.
Skills Gained:
• Team working skills- as every member had to work as part of the team to complete the
project on time
• Practical knowledge of the operation of the inverter and got good knowledge on entire
Distribution system and renewable sources.
