For the past 27 years Jeffrey Sherman was self-employed in the field of Landscape Architecture Planning and Urban Design. This award winning Landscape Architectural and Urban Design Firm served both private public sector clients in the Valley and the Southwestern United States. The Business Journal ranked Sherman Group as one of the top Landscape Architectural firms in Phoenix for over a decade. This firm worked within a broad spectrum of services for private sector development, major health care facilities, and community developments. Extensive public sector services included development design review for the City of Phoenix, public transit facilities, light rail programs, bus transfer facilities, urban redevelopment of downtowns, streetscape development, parks and open space, participation in many public art projects as well as the development of design guidelines and standards for right-of-way development and redevelopment.

Cofounder and President of a manufacturer dedicated to the design of bus shelters and urban street furniture. Firm markets and sells over 200 products that are used in the transit industry such as bus passenger shelters, street furniture and information kiosks. Company information about Lacor/Streetscape can be viewed at www. lacorss.com. Lacor/Streetscape provides bus passenger shelters with advertising programs for many major US cities. These were for media companies such as Outdoor Systems, Gannett, Via Com and CBS and non-advertising passenger shelters for municipalities. Jeffrey Sherman's transit furnishings designs can be seen across the country in cities such as Anaheim, Bakersfield, Fresno, Irvine, La Jolla, Los Angeles, Sacramento and many others in California; also the City of Flagstaff, Boulder, Denver, Colorado Springs. Additional projects include such programs as Bus Shelter Program, and Napa California’s bus shelter standards. With a history of revenues of over $20 million dollars Lacor/Streetscape is considered one of the nations top companies in the field of transit furniture manufacturing.
