1. On middleware applications developed by Oracle/SUN and Inter-Systems,

create programs to interface and integrate applications developed by

various vendors such as McKesson, GE, Cerner, Philips, Lawson, Logicare,

Pyxis, Cortex, Allscripts, NextGen, LabCorp, Mayo, Cardiac Science, SSI,

and Teletracking.

2. Monitor the Oracle/SUN eGate and Inter-Systems Ensemble Interface

Engines' hardware, check capacity of hardware and software so the

Interface Engine remains compatible with all systems.

3. Develop UNIX shell scripts using regular expressions to resolve

integration/interoperability issues among computer systems, test/monitor

interfaces, assure interfaces meet Healthcare's HL-7 standard.

4. Development and implementation of the HL7 interfaces for the

organizations first integrated information systems for Laboratory, Labor

and Delivery, Cardiology, ED, Surgery, Anesthesia, Long-Term Care.
