Main project Title: DESIGN OF FPGA IMPLEMENTATION OF DWT & IDWT PROCESSOR FOR IMAGE

COMPRESSION

A scheme for the design of FPGA implementation of DWT & IDWT processor for image compression is

●

proposed. In order to assess the feasibility and the efficiency of the proposed scheme, the architecture thus

designed is simulated and implemented on a field programmable gate array board. It is therefore a challenging

problem to design an efficient VLSI architecture to implement the DWT computation for real time applications.

Owing to its regular and flexible structure, the design can be extended easily into different resolution levels, and

its area is independent of the length of the 1 D input sequence. Compared with other known architectures, our

design requires the least computing time for 1 D lifting DWT.

Mini project Title: 3G UMTS BENCH MARKING

Communication today imbibed the accomplishment of several tasks of varied complexity, almost in all aspects of

life, the project here is meant for making the mobile communication easy and fast.
