Responsibilities: Assisted the school department in putting orders in the

system using 10 key by touch. I was in charge of calling to make sure all

orders had been placed for next day delivery. Fu rthermore, I kept customers

i nformed by forwarding notices of i tem availability shipment date, and

method, and current status; answering questions. Also assisted customer

w ith special order needs and called in pick-up notifications. I also helped with

p utting orders together, and filing. In charge of replacing damaged i tems,

shortages, and midshipmen’s by determining optimal response of

replacement or credit. Verified i tems shipped by matching bills of lading,

reconciling quantities; noting discrepancies. I dispatched to t ruck drivers if

i tems had to be picked up at a different school other than at the usual
