1. DESIGN OF HYBRID PROPORTIONAL INTEGRAL DERIVATIVE (PID) PLUS FUZZY LOGIC

CONTROLLER FOR SPEED CONTROL OF INDUCTION MOTORS

> Key Objective - To improve the speed control of Induction Motors by

using both PID & Fuzzy logic Controllers & make the Speed control

Flexible.

> Method- The circuit improves the stability, reduces Steady State

error and Dynamic error, enhances minimum overshoot and reduces

oscillations.

> Outcome - The PID and Fuzzy Logic techniques resulted in optimal

Speed Control which has hence been deployed in various Industries,

especially the paper industry.

2. CIRCUIT BREAKERS

> Key objective -Circuit Breakers are used for tripping the circuit

when there occurs a fault in the system

> Method-First the Relay senses the fault & transmits a signal to

the CB then it opens, isolates the faulty part from the healthy

section

> Outcome-.This is one of the Key Protecting Devices in the Switch

gear yard.
