Objective

My objective is to lead the analysis, reengineering, and

implementation of software application solutions and associated

business processes in the area of Enterprise Contract

Management. My goal is to act as a senior business partner to

collaborate with all stakeholders, (Legal, Finance, Sales, IT),

to deliver a highly integrated set of processes, controls, and

software tools to support all Contract Management functions,

including RFP creation, bid & proposal, negotiation, award,

management, and compliance.

I have experience both from an IT and business function in the

delivery of Contract Management solutions, (both commercial and

federal). I've led development efforts as well as worked with

packaged solutions from Nextance/Versata, Ariba and Selectica.

I have led the integration between the contract management

solutions with downstream applications and associated business

processes including Records Management (Iron Mountain,

Documentum), ERP (Oracle), CRM (Siebel), Management Reporting

and compliance functions.

Consulting to American Tower to integrate global network

operations centers support Cell tower and Distributed Antenna

sites. Integrating business and applications workflows from

alarm generation through support ticket creation through

dispatch and management of support personnel for worldwide

support team.

BiogenIDEC. Cambridge Ma October 2009 - July 2012

Manager Business Analysis - Legal & Compliance

I am responsible for evaluating BiogenIDEC's legal and

compliance suite of applications and business processes in order

to bring forward a replacement architecture, which addresses

both business process and application requirements. The scope

of this work includes all contract management, support of

existing 3rd party Legal Billing and Matter Management

functions. I led an enterprise wide program to identify

Biogen's contract mgt requirements, generate an RFP, evaluate

and select a replacement solution. I led the implementation of

the Selectica Contract Management application to replace the

legacy Ariba solution. We implemented the replacement solution

in March of 2011 including the conversion of 52k legacy

contracts. Effort also included restructuring the way in which

Biogen categorizes and manages contracts to bring new

efficiencies to the Contract Mgt function. Additionally, I led

the development and implementation of the test plan inclusive of

System/Functional testing, Integration, UAT, and Process Change

management.

Enterprise Contract Mgt - Business Architect

In this role, I have been responsible for the design and

implementation of all contract management functionality within

Sun's ContractExpress ECM application. This third party

application (developed by Nextance/Versata) has been implemented

within Sun to replace current legacy applications. My

responsibilities include the EOL'ing of the existing legacy

application and moving all functionality to Contract Express.

Additionally, I am driving the process re-engineering to

accommodate this. We have integrated this application with our

current ERP application (Oracle 11i) as well as other downstream

reporting tools and Iron Mountain's Records Management toolset.

We are now in the process of migrating to a new contract

management application from Selectica. Functionality being

implemented includes support for most contract types, (Sales

contracts, Services, Master Agreements, Non-Disclosures,

Procurement, and Joint-Marketing agreements). We provide

support for multi-language as well as standard templates and

dynamic inclusion of clauses. We have configured a rules-

based workflow functionality for review and approval actions.

All management activities are included in this solution

including, (Creation, Amendments, Holds, Renewals, and

Terminations.)

IT Consultant - Contract Management Solutions

Led the Sun / CSC outsourcing initiative to provide ongoing

support and development of Sun's (Agreement Registry) legacy

application in the contract management function. Support

included partnering with Sun's executive management in planning

a business architecture for the replacement of existing legacy

contract solutions with next generation functionality. My

responsibilities included IT Program Mgt in addition to

designing a strategic plan for next generation contract

management solutions at Sun. Once we designed the strategic

plan for contract management, we developed a two-year project

roadmap to execute towards the desired end state architecture.

IT Business Advisor - Global Sales & Marketing

Managed IT development team which migrated from a legacy

suite of sales and marketing applications to a Siebel / CRM

global toolset. Led systems and business process integration

architecture design between global call centers, e-Commerce

solutions and ERP functions. This effort involved the

replacement of legacy applications globally with Siebel's

functionality as well as the integration of CRM data with

quoting and ordering tools.

Additionally, I was the primary applications architect

responsible for the integration of CRM with the corporate sales

contract data repository, as well as providing a single source

repository of customer and contact data.

Responsible for evaluating gaps and identifying SOX based

controls for Sun's Contract Mgt applications.

Led project to generate RFP, evaluate options, select

product, and implement an ERP solution to support the creation

of a separate division to support the Alta Vista business at

Digital. Delivered ERP package from Platinum Software to

provide a separate Alta Vista legal entity to prepare for

sale/IPO.

Sr IT Consultant - Corporate Reengineering

Assigned to global IT team preparing RFP requirements for

the replacement of Digital's legacy applications portfolio,

(including Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Financial global

functions). Prepared RFP and evaluated multiple vendors,

eventually selecting the SAP R3 ERP toolset. Managed IT

application development team partnering closely with sales

business unit to develop all necessary integration solutions.

IT Group Manager - Federal Systems Business Unit

Managed Digital's federal government IT systems group composed

of management and software development resources providing

application development and support for federal government

business.

. Led the design, development and implementation of a

Financial RFP Analysis application, which evaluated

multiple what-if financial scenarios when submitting

proposals to the federal government. The application won

a company IT Excellence Award for the benefit it provided

in increasing proposal win rates.

. Implemented a Government Data Reporting Mart, which

integrated multiple sources of information into a

controlled environment for the purpose of supporting

Federal Government market analysis as well as compliance

reporting for federal programs. The data mart was used

extensively for strategic planning, trend analysis,

government account management and sales opportunities as

well.

. Evolved the Government Data Mart into a more robust

Information Center providing support for pre-sales

opportunities, (through integration of outstanding RFPs

from Commerce Business Daily publication), as well as

integrate government installed based data from the GAO.

This solution was attributed to raising the volume of

proposal responses by 20% by identifying system upgrade

opportunities for their existing installed base.
