SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Created life cycle management system. Sustaining engineer projects at Bosch were not planned. Created operational plan based on customer commitments/impact on goals. Divided projects into categories. Successfully contributed to organizational goals, reducing product costs by 15%, and increasing revenues 3%.

Implemented document management system. Tellium was using a system with limited access for maintaining project/process information, making access during ISO audits difficult. Researched document management systems, and identified/implemented system with floating license, providing information/access to meet needs.

Turned around struggling project. Major project to get “flagship” product into production was struggling. Reviewed project scope/design, and refocused team efforts. Met with all members gaining buy-in and assigning tasks. Drove project to completion and launched product that sustained Bosch’s position in the marketplace.

Reestablished communications with key supplier. Teams were not maintaining communications with supplier of critical component, and were unaware of issues/progress of deliveries on the critical path. Liaised with development teams and supplier, maintaining project progress and eliminating delays at Bosch.

CAREER HISTORY

Senior Engineering Project Manager, Comcast Corp., 2012 to September 2013. Leading cross-functional system development teams for Comcast Business Class Voice products and the Mobile App for Business Voice Edge.

Senior Project Manager, Bosch Security Systems, Inc., 2004 to 2012. Lead global, multi-site projects for this $47.3B security systems company. Develop integrated moving security camera systems. Utilize innovative methods and processes with quality gate reviews to develop/manufacture leading-edge products. Manage budgets to $12M.

Senior Program Manager, Tellium, Inc., 2000 to 2003. Recruited to lead $150M next-generation optical cross-connect and multi-service transport switch product development projects for this privately held R&D company. Managed stakeholder expectations. Led two project managers and teams to 50.

Project Manager, InterNetworking Systems Division, Lucent Technologies Inc., 1999 to 2000. Directed the integration of the Access Server with local access devices to provide VOIP telephony/data services to telecomm and cable industries for this $9.6B technology company. Managed vendors. Negotiated equipment exchanges.

Project Manager, Data Networking Systems Division, Lucent Technologies Inc., 1997 to 1999. Led feature development relationships with vendors resulting in on-time delivery of better features. Managed cross-functional development teams and high-risk Operational Support System (OSS) project between two divisions. Organized team structure, improving efficiency.
