1. Designed, Planned and integrated a Cable VPN WAN MPLS backup solution at
19 Hope Network remote locations with source based IP routing.
2. Redesigned all Hope Network VPN site to site IPSEC tunnels by disabling
split tunneling; forcing all remote traffic through the corporate office
for firewalling and anti-virus monitoring.
3. Integrated Checkpoint Firewall at corporate office to replace Cisco ASA;
moved Cisco ASA to disaster recovery location as a second internet link
for corporate internet traffic.
4. Configured route based policies on Hope Network Corporate LAN for
prioritizing network traffic.
5. Rolled out Toshiba VoIP phone solution to corporate office and 7 of 19
remote MPLS Hope Network locations.
6. Rolled out Toshiba VoIP extensions across the VPN site to site IPSEC
remote locations along with laptop soft phones.

corporate office and 20 remote offices; this included integrating new
Cisco LAN/WAN network while utilizing industry standard best practices.
New cabling and cable management was also done at all offices during this
clean up.
9. Planned, designed, configured and integrated new AT&T WAN MPLS roll out
at corporate office and 20 remote offices using BGP routing protocol and
Cisco hardware with zero target dates missed.
10. Implemented and managed Juniper SSG-320 firewall and Juniper SA-2000
SSL VPN solution at corporate office for remote connectivity.
11. Designed, and configured SSG-320 firewall and SA-2000 SSL VPN rule sets

corporate office and 20 remote offices; these included different SSIDs for
internal use and outside guest internet access. Configured wireless
security on the wireless controller to ensure a secure wireless network.
15. Implemented policies in regards to network changes as a proactive step
in keeping the Dart Energy network running flawless with minimal unplanned
changes.
16. Implemented and Manage Solar Winds Orion as a way to keep a proactive
approach to network outages at a minimal and better communication to end
users when they are involved in the outage. Was able to inform end users
that they were part of a network outage most of the time before they
actually became aware of it.
17. Designed future disaster recovery network to run in house at a 2nd Dart
Energy location instead of using outside contractors that is dependant on
service levels.
