I am seeking a position where I can use my energy and enthusiasm for efficient productivity and quality
customer service. I have an extensive well-rounded background that can be adapted to fit the needs of any
company or industustry. My attention to detail, organizational skills and penchant for attaining a high level
of quality productivity allows me to be useful in mulitiple areas. From information interpretation to document
management, archiving, streamling and organizing, to prompt and reliable customer service, my goal is to
make my work environment efficient and productive.
Through my experience as a permit technician I have acquired a substantial amount of knowledge about the
California Building Codes and Municipal Codes and how they apply to the individual needs of each customer.
The permit technician duties I performed included processing permit applications, providing information about
building and municipal codes, provided directions to finding information that improved their properties, as well
as which jurisdictions or government agencies governed different aspects of a project.
The skills I have gained through my experience as a permit technician have enabled me to appreciate the
nuances involved with helping people resolve their construction and development needs. I thrive in an active
environment where I can use my variety of knowledge and skills in a productive capacity. My customer service
background has helped me gain a wide scope of experience and knowledge regarding residential, commercial,
environmental and industrial markets with specific requirements. I am able to apply my experience to helping
people understand what they are required to provide and the reasons why.
My position as permit coordinator involved quality control of plans and submittal requirements for over sixty
different jurisdictions. I’m responsible for database management for the jurisdictions in my territory, juggling
various time schedules to be the most efficient and productive with my time, and be prompt and timely
responding to inquiries from both SolarCity employees and my jurisdictional contacts. I also trained, supervised
and delegated work for new permit coordinators.
I am looking for a position that offers growth, stability and a good work environment. I am self-motivated,
