Inspected any final assembly or subassembly and installation of parts, assemblies,

systems and equipment for workmanship, alignment, and for conformance with

shakedown inspections and witnessed functional checks. Initiated and documented any

nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts assemblies or portions thereof,

according to specification, processes and procedures. Performed audit/ surveillance of all

United States Navy (Fort Worth, TX, AIMD)

NAS JRB, AIMD 700 DIV . Worked as a vital team member and played an important role

in the aviation ordnance repair and maintenance team stationed in Fort Worth.

Disassembled and repaired various aviation ordnance plane components as well as the M-

61A1 gun turret. Successfully maintained up to 150 support equipment maintenance

records. Preformed scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on gun systems and other

ordnance related items. Accurately recorded and inventoried government issued work

tools, bomb racks, guns and other ordnance related items equaling up to 162 items or

more at any given time. Answered duty phones, followed strict OSHA regulations

regarding explosives and proper storing of such items, reviewed maintained and followed

ordinance publications, complied data and information regarding ordnance expenditure to

create monthly reports to be reviewed by command maintenance Master Chief.

Effectively managed 16 individuals of 700 divisions work center. Met deadlines set by

the FRC West organization regarding deliveries of fixed wing aircraft components

resulting in 100% mission success rate.

Learned how to properly move aircraft from one location to another, prepared aircraft for

takeoff, learned how to properly launch and recover air craft, preformed plane washes,

maintained and properly stored aircraft. Kept track of government authorized

ammunition, loaded and removed ammunition from the P-3 Orion. Removed and

replaced P-3 Orion bomb racks, Cleaned bomb bays, reset circuit breakers, checked

aircraft wiring for any malfunctions, repaired wiring, fixed circuit breakers, installed

aircraft weapon systems, isolated and troubleshot air craft armament components and

configured bombs for weapons loading.

Promoted to AO3 by receiving command recognition and was promoted to Petty officer

3rd class via Command Authorized Promotion (CAP).

Various Command recognized Awards and Certificates for quality of work and quality of

flight line maintenance.
