EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
• 1st Grade Stationary Engineer: Provided support of boiler operations; analyzing,
calibrating, inspecting and operating super heated D and M type section water
tube boilers. Operation of both automated and manually calibrated boilers,
performing repairs, welding, steam stops, valve and safety inspections, analysis
and testing as well as treating systems chemically for heating and cooling.
• Operation of and maintenance of waste water treatment plants, high and low feed
systems. Hydraulic and pneumatic automation and varied control systems
including large capacity refrigerators with chill ranges of -20F to include the repair
and rebuilding of compressors for refrigeration and cooling tower maintenance
and operation of PEVCO system..
• Trade Equipment Knowledge: Turbo and diesel generators, high and low
pressure turbines. Cleaver Brooks fire tube boilers, instrumental controlled
(Honeywell, Brooks, Bailey Boards).
• Teaching and Supervisory Skills: Supervised unlicensed personnel, certifying
work in plant, marine and industrial laboratories (maximum five employees at one
time). Trained and directed three work interns in Electrical, Micro Electronics,
DC/AC, HVAC and Programmable controlled laboratories in conjunction with
undergraduate training in a College setting. Backup classroom instructor and
Technical trainer for hands-on laboratories for Power Engineering, HVAC and
Telecommunications on undergraduate level (approximately 10-29 students)
