Ethernet 100M-bit Backbone via Cisco Catalyst 5000 for NT
and Netware Server Backup. Novell Servers were a
combination of Netware 4.1 and 3.12 on a token-ring
topology with NetSync running for full authentication from
any Login point. We used ArcServe v.6.0 (NDS-Aware) on
three dedicated Netware 4.1 Proliant 1500's. Each had 3 x
20/40GB DLT drives. The Backbone was configured with 3 Bay
Network Hubs and a Cisco Catalyst 5000 Fast Ether Switch.
We then established a daily/weekly routine schedule to
optimize the Backup performance of 30 + Servers.
November '95 Contract: Interdigital Communications Corporation,

Completed a 6-month project where I was the NY Project
Manager for a full conversion from Netware 3.12 to
Microsoft NT Server 3.51. Installed Servers and converted
all clients in NY to WFW 3.11 with Microsoft TCP/IP 32b
protocol or NT Workstation 3.51. I also set up
approximately 25 clients using Exceed v4.0 X-Windows
package to Telnet into any of 8 UNIX Sun OS Hosts to run a
variety of design applications. I was also responsible for
CC:Mail Administration and maintenance for the NY office.
