Blue Florida OPR Workflow (Overpayment Recovery Workflow) project initiated to automate process/workflow to recover overpayments from its providers using IBM BPM 7.0/ Websphere Process Server7.0 / Business Monitor7.0 / Websphere Portal (UI) products.

This solution provides the ability to recover overpayments from Providers using automated workflow and integrations.

o Create Disputes for overpayments from Providers in Workflow

o Track the dispute life cycle

o Validate Invoices & Retrieve AR & update AR in PeopleSoft (PeopleSoft integration via WebServices)

o Validate SR in Sieble (Siebel Integration via WebServices)

o Integration with Quest via MQ (To track Claim Adjustments)

o Integration with WIP/IPS via Flat file system / FTP using Websphere Adapters.

o Receive AR updates from peoplesoft via MQ

o Publish events to track the life cycle of dispute end-to-end monitoring and Reports.

o Human Tasks / Business Process Services exposed to Websphere Portal UI.

o Email notifications and ORACLE DB operations using Adapters.

Florida Blue workflow Medical Records Management Phase I Project : This project enhance the provider’s ability to submit requested medical records using electronic capabilities through Availity; blue claim processors use those submitted Medical records to process claims/cases. The electronic message will use standardized code language such as LOINC which communicates provider what medical records required. Workflow system requests Medical records via AIS/PAIS blue existing system to get records from Availity (AIS Web Service).

Florida Blue workflow Edge Exceptions Tracking Case Project : Beginning in 2014, Florida Blue is required to send Medical Claims, Pharmacy & Enrollment Information to CMS via Edge Server for risk assessment and scoring process. Any exceptions in the data sent to Edge Server are routed back to Florida Blue in their Information Management (IM) department. IM will parse the data and send the Medical Claims & Enrollment edge server exception data to Quest Workflow system via Siebel.

Once Medical Claim Exceptions received by Quest Workflow system will create Claim Edge exception tracking case and route to Business Queues / Users to work on. When Claim Exception is worked and closed by the business user, Quest Workflow system will send status update to Siebel/IM. Similarly, Enrollment Exceptions received by Quest Workflow System will find any claims are affected by this enrollment change and if there are any impacted claims then Quest System will create enrollment exception tracking case and route to Business Queues/Users to work on. Once Enrollment Exceptions tracking case is created then Quest workflow system will update Siebel/IM with tracking case no details.
