HealthVault is a connected health data platform on the cloud from Microsoft. The service started as an incubation under Microsoft Research and provide consumer

with the ability to orchestrate their health information through a consumer front-end and, through the web-services API.

o Drove product vision, strategy, customer use cases and stories for the product. Launched the incubation project to market as a public ‘beta’ ahead of

competition (Google Health) & successfully removed the beta tag after 18 months.

o Successfully led constructing a customer and partner driven roadmap for the service and managed transition from incubation to general market availability.

o Built the diverse technical program management organization and hired 8 front-runner program managers for delivering a successful business, experience and

technology for the service.

o Led the program management team for delivering critical improvements to the service. My team led engineering teams and delivered a number of fundamental

quality-of-service improvements to advance scalability & availability as well as security and privacy. Team drove engineering as well as innovations such as

simplified digital signing of health data and secure storage of large medical imaging data in the cloud.
