VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Ten Thousand Villages A non-profit organization selling fair trade items from around the
globe. I enjoyed interacting with customers, learning and telling
the stories behind each unique hand-made craft.
Loaves & Fishes I helped this non-profit organization prepare and serve healthy
meals for the hungry. I also aided in the cleanup afterward.
Clare Bridge Nursing home for the elderly suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease
and Dementia. I spent many hours with the elderly offering them
a friend to talk to and play games with. Many did not have
family or friends visiting them, so the residents enjoyed the
company of the volunteers. My choir even came by to sing
Christmas carols around the holidays.
