Actively analyze and interpret nucleotide variations (SNP) in clinical

sequencing and genotyping tests in a CLIA certified laboratory. Train

new analysts and provide support for coworkers throughout many

departments. Perform quality control verifications to ensure completeness

and accuracy of peer-generated reports. Collaborate with Quality

Assurance manager to troubleshoot, coordinate, and develop new standard

processes to enhance quality and tracking of data. Update and revise

standard operating procedures as part of the continuous quality

improvement program. Work very closely with lab staff to troubleshoot

quality issues.

Resolve abnormal processing issues that are unsupported by automated

techniques. Assist the Clinical Test Administrator in the management and

tracking of clinical samples. Perform database updates to the Laboratory

Information Management System (LIMS) to support routine functions or

validated changes.

Unilever, Trumbull, CT Laboratory Technician July 2007 - July 2008

Performed stability testing on skin care products to verify they meet the

intended shelf life criteria. Prepared product batches to ensure quality

characteristics are met prior to market delivery. Created training

videos and materials for new product demonstrations.
