and skidders. Assist with the loading and the unloading of trucks along

with assisting truck drivers with strapping loads. In charge of removing

all brush from work areas and escape routes. Accountable for marking logs

with identification and tagging unsafe trees. Interpret harvest plans to

identify falling patterns. Appraise trees for certain characters in order

to determine how to control the direction of trees falling with the least

amount of damage. Responsible for recording the measurements of fallen

trees. Assess log cutting to ensure that the quality and length are

correct. Work with the Division of Transportation to ensure roads are safe

and secure for the job. Work directly with NCFS to ensure stream zones are

equipment used in the field. Ensure equipment is proper working order .
