Attention Personnel Manager
Re: Employment
Please accept this letter and attached resume as my application for an
opportunity within your company.
As part of my personal strategy to be an effective employee, keeping
informed and up to date in industry trends is a priority. I am always
looking for ways that continue to improve my skills and knowledge base,
through continual learning. I have completed the Production Field Operator
A&B from SAIT and am currently registered in part C, to be completed by
October 31, 2014.
Working with others in a small team environment, is one of the many
interpersonal skills that I feel my experience would bring to your company.
I believe that reaching ones ultimate goal requires teamwork, safe work
habits, and encouragement. I feel that the management worker relationship
is very important in industry. It is my stance that when management
engages the worker in relevant decisions it leads to motivation and
commitment in achieving performance objectives.
I have an outgoing enthusiastic personality, good organizational and
communication skills. I am proficient in using computers including MS
office and SCADA. I am a good team player and will help out whenever it is
needed. I welcome the opportunity to learn and tackle new projects.
I am currently the sole proprietor of C-Train Contracting, complete with
appropriate oil field insurance and all other requirements to fulfill
contract operating within the oil and gas industry.
The attached resume demonstrates my ability to work and adapt to a varied
range of positions and work environments.
I am available to meet with you to further discuss my qualifications within
the next two weeks as your schedule permits.
Sincerely,
Cody Connon
