Employment
Dallas, TX
Production Manager
In this position I managed 12 repair technicians and two warehouse
personnel with little outside support. My team operated as a stand alone
repair facility that serviced the CATV industry. I was responsible for day
to day operations including opening and closing the facility, work flow,
material management and staffing. I was challenged in this position by
many personnel related problems, which has given me many new tools
for managing and motivating the people that work for me.

Lab Manager
This position required me to be the resource manager for a 12,000 ft 2
engineering lab across multiple hardware and software projects. I
manage space allocations and direct infrastructure personnel. I trained
and mentored a group of 30 plus validation technicians. I was
responsible for calibration of all electronic test equipment and
maintaining calibration documentation for ISO certification. I maintain a
large data base for tracking both inventory and project status.
In this position I was challenged daily to draw on my technical
background to debug complex boards and systems to the component
level. Over the years with the ever shrinking component geometries I
have had to keep up with all the latest soldering techniques. Including
the use of hot air for high pin count SMT and microscope iron work on
0603 and smaller discrete components.

worked with other inspectors and line operators to maintain a high level
of quality outputs.

product development, including B/Ms, schematics, board layout, test and
inspect, and adjustment procedures.
