Production Manager

In this position I managed 12 repair technicians and two warehouse

personnel with little outside support. My team operated as a stand alone

repair facility that serviced the CATV industry. I was responsible for day

to day operations including opening and closing the facility, work flow,

material management and staffing. I was challenged in this position by

many personnel related problems, which has given me many new tools

for managing and motivating the people that work for me.

This position required me to be the resource manager for a 12,000 ft 2

engineering lab across multiple hardware and software projects. I

manage space allocations and direct infrastructure personnel. I trained

responsible for calibration of all electronic test equipment and

large data base for tracking both inventory and project status.

background to debug complex boards and systems to the component

level. Over the years with the ever shrinking component geometries I

the use of hot air for high pin count SMT and microscope iron work on

0603 and smaller discrete components.
