Daily checks and standby checks on 3KW to 1000KW Power generators

Service maintenance on Cummins, Cater Pillar, John Deer, FG Wilson and all

commercial generators

Chang oil, filters, air filters and general mechanic works on the

generators

Developed Preventative Maintenance Program.

Developed procedures and methods for compliance with California Energy

Commission requirements.

Established Startup Spares identification requirements, ordering and

tracking.

Established Vendor Rep Scheduling, Owner notification, Service Reports,

Developed Facility Demonstration and Performance Tests.The Power Generation

Supervisor independently coordinates and performs duties to operate the 113

prime power generators made by Aggreko, Aggrko, Aksa, Caterpillar, Cummins,

Ghapdar, Honda, Indeks, Perkins, Wilson and other manufacturers with

outputs ranging from 20 kW up to 1600 kW.

The Power Generation Supervisor provides daily work assignments and

supervises: Three Power Generation Operators

The Power Generation Supervisor will be responsible to manage and oversee

the:? Power generation control room

? Power generation-distribution grid

? Switchgear

? Transformers

? Fusible switches

? Automatic transfer switches.

? Mechanical, electrical, digital and programmable logic controller (PLC)

related diagnosis and repair

? The preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, repair, installation

and modernization of all power generation controls equipment on the BDSC

compound

The Power Generation Supervisor:? Reports any malfunctions or lack of

compliance with Statement of Work (SOW) to the Chief Engineer or Assistant

Chief Engineer.

? Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

? Assists in developing the Statement of Work (SOW) when requested

including diagrams and specifications in compliance with OSHA and National

Electric Code (NEC) standards.

? Maintains effective, timely and respectful communication and interaction

with other employees, managers, and supports other organizations.

? Performs other administrative tasks including material ordering,

inventory, work scheduling

? Collects, analyzes and summarizes data for report preparation and submits

written reports

Responsibilities:A thorough knowledge of the mechanical and electrical

makeup and operation of powered support systems such as those described

above, including their major mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and

pneumatic components;

Troubleshoot and repair diesel, gasoline, and/or multi-fuel engines (e.g.,

overhauling those of 3 to 8 cylinders and up to 3MW of power or making less

extensive repairs to larger, more complex engines);

Gear and govern components for controlling, changing, or transferring speed

and power;

Assist in maintaining electrical power through the power plant and primary

distribution system, and in the operation of the central switchboard to

actuate remotely controlled circuit breakers, transformers, and switches in

order to regulate and maintain proper voltage on the distribution lines;

Perform the overhaul, installation, maintenance, modification, and repair

of various types of electronically controlled industrial power generation

equipment;

Apply knowledge of electronic theory and circuits and basic logic circuits

to power, timing, and motion controls, indicating and counting mechanisms,

and similar devices to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair power plant

controls and electronics equipment;

Utilize judgment in interpreting guidelines such as load shedding priority

schedule, operating criteria of equipment, schematics, and wiring diagrams;

Assist the Plant Manager to isolate and bypass the fault when malfunctions

occur, in order to maintain service or take actions to shed low priority

loads when full service cannot be maintained;

Plan controls operating programs, and make periodic inspections of the

power plant controls and other devices to insure smooth functioning;

Execute the company's policies and procedures for proper and efficient

operation of the power plants in Andra Pradesh in INDIA.

1 Special duties and responsibilities:

Monitor the distribution of electric power to various distribution points;

Operate switchboard controls to adjust remotely controlled circuit

breakers, transformers, and switches to regulate and maintain proper

voltage on the distribution lines and at the power generation plant;

Report abnormal operating conditions and reroute power through alternate

feeders to user areas in case of emergency cutouts or extensive scheduled

repair;

Notify repair crews of the location of failure and assure that circuits are

open and tagged before work is started;

Keep an hourly log of meter readings and record shutdowns, connection and

disconnection of circuits, and similar occurrences;

Ensuring necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified actions

completed.

Ensure all process related works for the facilities are in accordance with

project specifications and making sure they are maintained in order to

safeguard technical integrity

Participating in technical reviews for engineering works

Providing commissioning team with technology requirements for engineering

Providing technical support to the project on commissioning, operating
