DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planned maintenance of plant equipment, breakdowns and

shutdowns

Work shifts, stand by and overtime when required

Ensure implementation of safety standards and avoiding

injury and loss of capital equipment.

Training of apprentices and safe guarding (ISO)

certification requirements.

Wiring control and starter panels for overhead gantry

cranes, steam boilers, galvanizing bath panels,DC6 drives

and other electrical motor starters

Carrying out new installations for newly acquired

machinery.

Maintenance of factory lighting and canteen equipment

Overhauling electric motors ranging up to 1.3MW in size

changing bearings and winding cleaning, drying and

revanishing.

Maintenance and installation of high frequency tube

welders of up to 300kw and 400 kHz in size.
