Objective:

products, on time, and in the most efficient way possible for my employer's
business and continue developing my career.
Summary:
I have spent the past 27 years gaining valuable experience in the
automotive manufacturing and automotive glass industries. Beginning with
an entry level position and working through college and up the corporate
ladder, I have gained a complete understanding of how to manage a business.
Using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principals, I have worked alongside
engineering to expand/grow manufacturing capacity and improve operational
efficiencies. Building positive relationships with customers precipitating
increased revenue. Being considerate of employees has increased longevity

Work History:
2008 - Present; Hilite International
Manufacturing Supervisor - Manage up to 40 employees in a high volume CNC
machining, injection molding, assembly environment in order to maintain
production schedule over 7 product lines in automotive manufacturing
totaling $140 million in annual sales. Utilized Six Sigma Tool of "DMAIC"
to expand capacity of product line from inception (2,000 units daily) to
maturity (20,000 units daily). Manage daily operations in major product
lines, including staffing and work scheduling, production reporting, and
implementing necessary process improvements. Responsible for personnel
training, hiring, discipline, and conflict resolution. Implemented 5S in a
mature product line to improve operational efficiencies.
Materials Manager - Managed five professionals; buyers, planners, warehouse
supervisor, to ensure materials were available to manufacturing.
Responsible for maintaining an average of 10 days on hand, and a target of
inventory budget of $ 3.5 million daily.
Maintenance Supervisor - Managed a staff of 18 maintenance employees
across 3 shifts (24 hours daily) to ensure facilities and equipment were
operational for manufacturing.
Lean Manufacturing Coordinator - Responsible for implementing 5s and
continuous improvement. Successfully managed 5s installation of a major
product line over the course of three months. Managed project from
commencement to conclusion.
