• Conduct analysis on food flavoring products for R&D and QC/QA departments using instruments: GC/MS,

GC-FID, HPLC, FAAS.

• Develop and implement sample preparation methods for a variety of food flavoring products including

plated powders, spray dried powders, water based emulsions, water soluble and oil soluble liquid solutions of

VOC’s.

• Develop and implement sample preparation methods for a variety of finished products for R&D including

but not limited to: baking mix, cookies, candy, flavored oils, chips and beverages.

• Generate CofA’s and perform export analysis panels for food flavor products.

• Oversee acquisition, operation, and maintenance of all analytical equipment in the plant.

• Train QC/QA technicians to operate analytical equipment and conduct routine analysis.
