healthcare industries. Managed the talent acquisition programs,
aligning strategic goals with plans that met the desired

. Organizational Development and Talent Management
o Produced needs assessments and developed programs for: diversity
training, team building, time management, conflict resolution,

Yacobian Group training seminars. Competent working with and
assisting in the development of CBT programs.
o Developed the first employee satisfaction survey ever used for a
major retailer with over 5000 associates. Used the results to
create an Organization Development strategy for associate and
leadership enrichment.
o Implemented a succession planning process where top talent
throughout the company was identified. Created a program where
we identified training gaps so we could be successful in growing
our own leaders. This decreased recruiting costs, and increased
employee satisfaction as measured in the annual employee
satisfaction surveys.
. Employee and Labor Relations
o Assisted leadership in both healthcare and retail industries to
effectively resolve employee relations issues throughout all
levels in the organizations. Routinely worked through complex
issues, such as sexual harassment, and workplace disputes.
Properly and thoroughly investigated all employee issues to
arrive at a satisfactory resolution that ensured compliance with
all EEOC and Labor Laws. Represented companies in EEOC
proceedings, working with corporate counsel to make sure risk
was minimized.
o Routinely worked with all levels of management to effectively
work through Performance Improvement Processes with all levels
of associates.
. Compensation and Benefits
o Partnered with Vice President of Human Resources to negotiate
and review Benefit Plans for the Company. Results saved over
$400,000 in premiums by extending stop-loss coverage on the
health plan.
o Reviewed and developed compensation analysis with Benefits
Specialists. Revised job descriptions, re-evaluating exempt and
non-exempt positions to be in compliance with Department of
Labor standards.
o Effectively managed all leave and benefit programs: FMLA, STD,
Personal Leaves, 401k, and COBRA.
Retail and Design Accomplishments
. Developed and created explicit merchandising direction to ensure
consistency in presentation standards to the stores organization of 75
Midwest region stores. Facilitated New York home office merchandising
meetings to develop strategies and determine presentation standards
for each month's fashion changes. Produced a monthly store set
publication that went out to all stores nationwide.
. Visited districts to assist district managers in training store
management on execution of the store set document through district
meetings and one-on-one training. Directed management teams in opening
and remodeling of stores. Helped to develop several prototypes of
store design, fixtures, and layout. Created and implemented a new
training module and was assigned the role of Training Visual Director
to induct newly hired Regional Visual Directors from multiple
divisions of the company.
. Managed and led regional, district, and facility teams of up to
fifteen associates. Ensured their talents were maximized through
identification of their abilities. Coached, mentored, and trained
teams to reach financial goals through consistently high presentation
