• Responsible for the flow of productivity in the warehouse so that the company maintained
an efficient and profitable structure between management, its employees and its customers.
• Interacted with over 30 field mechanics and their helpers on a daily basis to manage the
purchasing and coordination of job materials, parts and loaner tools that pertained to their
service calls; approximately 190 active service agreements per month.
• Managed the warehouse delivery system which included organizing and staging all inbound
and outbound UPS and freight truck deliveries of boilers and job materials.
• Responsible for the management of the 35,000 sq. ft. building, grounds, parking lot and a
fleet of over 60 company vehicles including all service trucks.
• Responsible for stocking an array of over 1,500 boiler parts, pipe, pipe fittings, refractory
and other boiler related items from multiple vendors procuring the best pricing available.
• Responsible for all parts sales, credits and returns that pertained to the company’s 190
service contracts and cold-call parts sales.
• Handled updating the company’s computer pricing/manag. system on a quarterly basis to
ensure that all 1,500 stock items in the database were updated for billing purposes.
• Supervised two employees daily and trained new staff on safe operation of forklift equip.
• Coordinated the ordering of uniforms for over 60 employees; managed the uniform lockers,
collected all uniforms when employees were terminated, and handled all of the respective
issues between the vendor and employees.
• Scheduled the service and maintenance of all fleet trucks for necessary repairs.
• Supervised the annual truck inspections of 35 service trucks to ensure all truck tools and
equipment were documented annually for insurance & accountability purposes.,
• Operated forklifts to unload incoming freight as needed.
