Summary - Senior Project Manager with over thirty years engineering
experience with DCS's (Fisher DeltaV, Honeywell, Moore APACs, Siemens
T3000), PLC's (Allen Bradley, Modicon, Triconex) in multiple industries
(utilities, paper, chemical, pharmaceutical) and SIS in Boiler
Applications. Experience includes the specification, design, installation,
start-up of field instrumentation and control systems (DCS, PLC), the
design, implementation and tuning of control loops and Mimic simulation
software and hardware. Experienced with both basic and advanced control
applications (MVC). Senior Project Manager on projects valued to $10MM.
Project Management experience includes project inception through final
acceptance certification. Senior Process Control Engineer on projects
valued to $15MM. Design experience includes developing initial project
scopes, specifications, loop sheets, P&IDs, SAMA's, functional

Developed Sootblower Steam Smoothing Logic for Boilers, reducing 20 to 45
klbs/hr impact to under 100 lbs/hr. Received letters from clients on
several projects for resolving issues no one else could solve. Installed
state-of-the-art coating kitchen rated #1 worldwide by Jaakko Poyry.
Pioneered stock blending system in DCS application. Designed Change Zone
for Honeywell TDC-3000 that is used worldwide. Pioneered development of
equipment bitmaps for use in graphics.

10/10 - present Responsible for management and engineering of multiple
projects in paper, power and chemical industries. Current projects are
replace BMS on Power Boiler utilizing PLC and existing Honeywell DCS,
replace DCS and BMS on multiple boilers utilizing new DeltaV SIS and
commissioning of DeltaV Control System to replace existing pneumatic
control system with DeltaV.
Siemens Energy, Sr. Project Manager, 5/08 - 10/10 Responsible for
management of multiple projects in utilities industry. Projects included
greenfield and upgrade installations of Siemens T3000 DCS in domestic and
international power plant locations. Managed Project Teams ranging from 3
to 15. Responsible for all phases of Project from inception through close-
out. Responsible for project values up to $1.2MM.
Emerson Process Management, Sr. Control Engineer, 4/97 - 5/08 Responsible
for all issues related to control systems (DCS & PLC) that supported
projects in paper, pharmaceutical, nuclear and power industries. Includes
Control System HW/SW troubleshooting, system upgrades, loop tuning,
troubleshooting, process optimization, and the engineering and management
of control system related projects (specification through start-up) for
project values up to $15MM. Responsible for onsite personnel and
contractors. Served as onsite safety director.

Manager, 12/85-4/97 Responsible for all issues related to control systems
(DCS & PLC) that supported projects in paper mills in Louisiana and
Georgia. Includes Control System HW/SW troubleshooting, system upgrades,
control loop tuning and troubleshooting, process optimization, and the
engineering and management of control system related projects
(specification, design, purchasing, assembly, test installation, & start-
up). Responsible for project values up to $10MM, responsible for
contractors, responsible for consulting engineers. Replaced panelboard
controls with control systems through out entire mill.

all issues related to control systems (DCS) that supported projects (values
to $5MM) in tissue and linerboard paper mill in Florida.
Inland Orange Consultants, Controls Project Engineer, 8/79-11/82 Resp
for all issues related to panel mounted controls that supported projects
(values to $100M) at Olin Chemical in Louisiana.
