WAN\LAN Network Engineer responsible for the support, maintenance and
configuration management of the U.S. Census Bureau WAN, LAN and WLAN
infrastructure, Cisco Access Control System, F5 Load Balance Devices and
Application Security Manager: Provide Tier 3 and 4 direct support of
Routing and Switching services and resources. Provide supplemental route
and switch support of Wireless, VOIP, Security and Video services and
resources. Provide direct support of Wireless services and resources as
well as the associated applications and clients. Provide direct support of
the Cisco Access Control System. Provide direct support of F5 Load Balance

Provide daily operational support for U.S. Census Bureau clients: Support

issues related to the migration of network devices, clients, servers and

. Assisted in the removal of link encryption devices from the U.S.
Census Bureau network infrastructure. Re-configured remote office WAN
links to use IPSec as the primary method of data encryption

Cisco WLC 4402 series devices to the Cisco WLC 5508 series devices
. Implemented WLC configurations to support wireless client

National Processing Center (NPC) facility in Indiana
. Configured Wireless Anchor configurations to allow HQ hosted wireless
services to be accessed from specified geographical locations

. Conducted product comparison for the selection of an Enterprise Load
Balance solution with members from both vendors (Cisco vs BigIP/F5)

. Assisted in the deployment of hundreds of F5 virtuals to support
services such as Web service (Census.gov, and American Fact Finder),

Network Engineer responsible for the support of four separate network
environments, including the Non-Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network
(NIPRnet), Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRnet), Joint
Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), and the Technology
Integration Center (TIC) Internal Private Network. Network environments
handled both classified and unclassified communications in support of
DoD Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Support of these
environments included configuration management, upgrades and integration of
new network devices to meet client requirements or specified network
policies, as well as providing standard network support. Extended specified
networks to new areas of the facility. Assisted in the configuration and

Lead Engineer in the integration, installation and configuration of the
Logistics Information Management System (LIMS) hardware and software
platform into the Coast Guard Data Network (CGDN+) infrastructure. Provide
technical support to the overall effort of implementing the LIMS solution
into the CGDN+, as well as the Coast
Guard client community and user base. Responsible for providing guidance
and support on Ellipse and the Fleet Logistics Management System (FLMS)
implementation issues. Researched all proposed hardware and software
components to determine the best system configuration needed to support the
application and meet availability requirements. Responsible for all
initial client, server, and network related hardware configurations and
final purchase requirements in support of the LIMS system. Hardware devices
included HP PaRISC based systems, HP disk array, Compaq SAN switches, HP
backup devices, Intel based PC's, Intel based servers, and Cisco devices

Corps. This included the design and development of a web based data
collection tool, as well as providing a linked Microsoft Access database to
store all information received. Provided a tool that would allow U.S.
Marine Corps representatives to view selected data via the Internet.
Designed and developed a tool used to provide the respondents a method to
update data or submit new data. Designed and developed a tool to streamline
the integration of all updated or new data into the master database.
Ensured data integrity. Contributed in the design and development of an
automated Microsoft Access/Microsoft Excel data analysis tool. Analyzed
data and proposed computer allowances.
-Web Shell Active Server Page Development: Key contributor in the layout
and design of a web based survey/questionnaire, accompanied with a
supporting relational database, providing a user friendly, as well as
viewer friendly website. Performed updates to HTML code as needed to
