Project under guidance In DCD:
. Energy Meter Design, Battery Charger, Cluster, CMRI (Common Meter
Instrument Reading), Data Concentrator, Ghana Disconnecter, GSM Modem,
HHT (Hand Held Technology), Light Intensity, PLC (Power Line
Communication) & Street Light.
. Design of Single Phase Meter:
In this project MSP430F427 controller is used. It is a 4 layers board
with 400 connection & 250 components with 1 ground plane and Size of
the board is 90x70 mm. It is designed according to Mechanical
Dimensions. This PCB board is also prepared for 35 KV with shielding
provision. My responsibilities were to generate the Bill of Material
(BOM) and support to SMT Department.
. Design of Three Phase Meter:
In this project STM32L152B controller with LQFP Package is used & 3
channel energy measurements ASIC ICs with QFN Package is used. In this
project my responsibilities were to create schematic, net listing,
Placing, Routing & create the Gerber file for PCB manufacturer.
. Design of Modular Meter:
This project involves set of 10 meters in one assembly, so major part
is to design the PCB in a compact mode. It is a 4 layers PCB. In this
project my responsibility was to design the board according to
mechanical dimension (base & cover). Design the schematic & verify ICs
according to the data sheet. Create net list, checking out the errors
(May be no footprint in components or Mismatch in connection or
Annotation Error), create the Gerber file & BOM for PCB manufacturer.
. Design of Common Meter Reading Instrument (CMRI):
It is 8 layers board with 1500 connections with two powers & two
ground planes. The design of PCB is compact and easy to handle. In
this project my Responsibilities is to Route the Data Bus signal
between Processor, SD-RAM, Flash & Controller design and to design new
footprints of packages LQFP-216, PSOP-16, TSOP-54, QFN-20 & Micro USB.
. Data Concentrator:
It is single sided double layer board with 10 no. of Rj-11 connector
which is connected to the 10 modular meters. The design of PCB is
compact. In this project my Responsibilities were to create schematic,
net listing, Placing, Routing & create the Gerber file for PCB
manufacturer.

. Parking Ticketing System, Vehicle Counters & Display, Parking Floor
Indicators, Parking Guidance System, Automated Parking Systems,
Vehicle Scanners, Security Patrol Systems, Slot Allocation Systems,
Visitor Management Systems & Valet Management System.

* A Final year Project in Fuzzy Logic Based Maximum Power Demand
Control.

* A Final year Project in ONLINE MONITORING OF DC MOTOR.
