Experience
Overnight Associate at Hollister Co.
July 2013 - Present (7 months)
At Hollister Co. I work as a part-time overnight associate. My job requires me to refold, reorganize and
replenish the clothing items on the sales floor. Due to my history at Levi Strauss and Co. Soho Store, I was
chosen to specialize in denim. Though denim is my specialty I have also been trained in the standards of other
merchandise. In my time with the company I also worked performing inventory count and merchandise
receiving and stocking. This opportunity has rounded out my experience in retail, providing me the final skill
to be an excellent candidate for other retail opportunities.
Cashier at Century 21 Department Stores
December 2012 - March 2013 (4 months)
This was a seasonal position. In my short stay I worked as a cashier. I often was directed to help Hispanic and
Latin American customers due to my knowledge of both the Spanish and Portuguese language. I worked with
high-end labels and served customers who worked in the Wall Street area of New York City.
Sales Support at Levi Strauss & Co.
May 2012 - August 2012 (4 months)
My employment at Levi Strauss and Co was meant as a summer job but turned into a very fun and educating
experience. I was hired as a Sales Support Associate meaning I was not responsible for major sales but for
facilitating the sales opportunities required of Sales Associates. My station was in the fitting room where I
helped guests finalize their purchases by suggestive selling. In the fitting room I also was responsible for
refolding and running merchandise back to the sales floor. I often received recognition from my manager
Scott and in turn was invited to interview for a permanent part time job opportunity at the Lexington Avenue
store. In my stay I worked with a different clientele than I was used to at Toys R Us Times Square. I built
personal relationships with loyal customers from not only NYC but from other parts of the world through our
foreign guests, most notably from Brazil and France. My employment at Levi Strauss and Co. was
eye-opening and an opportunity that I enjoyed.
Guest Service Associate at Toys R Us
June 2009 - January 2012 (2 years 8 months)
This was my first retail experience and set the foundation for my career in retail. I started as a sales associate
and was quickly promoted to Keyholder. As a Keyholder I was responsible for performing all necessary
functions of a supervisor. I delegated daily tasks and scheduled breaks for all of the associates in my
department. Sales goals were a daily requirement and I was responsible to drive them. I processed returns and
exchanges and handled guest issues. I was responsible for all the registers in my department and also assisted
other departments when necessary. My role was as a team leader in which I also trained over 20 new team

members in my stay with the Company.
