Objective:Theoverallobjective of the project is to understand the tribological aspect in the artificial hip joint to increase the life of joint

Brief: Pin on disc arrangement along with friction & wear monitor is re-quired for the study of friction & wear process under the wide variety of of parameters such as speed, temperature, lubrication, environment.

Benefits: From experimental results we can draw a conclusion that ceramic is the best suited material for artificial hip joint.
