DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

Reinsurance System is the process of insuring Life and Non-Life articles

which actually belongs to core Insurance system(TCS BANCs). For this

mechanism we have different departments and corresponding sub departments

of specific categories. We have created automation of non-life policies

like Fire, Terrorist activity, Automobile, Marine, CAR and many others line

of business where we can put those policy mapping as applicable. We have

also calculated the ceding system depending on the program. Also we have

defined various kind of treaties (may have multiple contracts) and

contracts for Reinsurer. Ceding of a policy is mapped based on the program.

Which is depend on Risk Category, Risk Type and Product. Whenever a policy

comes then we can generate ceding details depending on the specific

program. Then we can calculate the policy cession derivation and claim

apportionment of the specific policy. We can also generate report through

batch process for all derived policies and for all claims which were

apportioned. This is the core functionality of a Reinsurance system.

private banking Line Of Business which delivers the highest-quality advice,

families(Net worth between $5MM-$25MM)around the world. BAU includes Web

Service based data access and delivery, where the abstraction based on

Middleware Data Services allow for data location transparency.PBDS data is

primarily sourced from ODS, Olympic, OMNI which are the recordkeeping

systems for different region based securities accounts. Many different

upstream Systems are available for accounting a systems(OMNI

Trust),Deposits(ECD),Credit(CBS,LYNX),Instruments(TOPAZ) etc from which the

data stores in Pbds/ODS (central repository of all data)which act as

JPMC Private Bank is one of the Top Private Banks in the globe with nearly

$200 billion assets in supervision. The core services include Asset and

Money Management, Lending, Financial advice and Investment Management

Services. Workstation is a portal deployed on IBM Portal Server 6.0 with

numerous Struts and Faces Portlet.

Tax Entry was a manual process till date, by this project in the first

phase we are automating it. This functionality will be appended to the

existing Tax entry system which was basically on access DB. Through this

functionality the user can take the request from a client and convert into

a request for a new Tax Setup, the user can also modify the existing one.

Various enhancements were added onto the existing application as to cater

to the customer's requirements. Five of such modules e.g. Tax Onboarding,

Fiduciary Analysis, Tax Filing,Billing, Tax refund were successfully

developed, deployed into various testing environments and delivered

successfully. It can be used to define the functional requirements for

implementing and launching the following Tax functionalities in PWM

Workstation for IM and Fiduciary accounts. Tax Entry provides the user

interface to instruct fees through Workstation.
