Thank you for the response to my application. I wish to apply for the
position of Graphic Designer/Project Specialst.
I am passionate about digital media and have geared my tertiary education
and recent work experience towards a career in this exciting and rapidly
growing industry. I completed my Bachelors in Information Technology at
Sambalpur University in 2005. Currently, working as full time e-learning
producer and graphics designer in Education Services Team in Cadence Design
Systems.
My key responsibilities include formatting, editing course content before
publication, creating and maintaining publishing schedules in Sharepoint,
and sourcing and cropping photos and other graphical content. I maintain
the proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) which includes uploading
and checking correctness of courses uploaded before Customer can view those
courses.
In addition, I have worked as a designer for Marketing team at Systems
Advisers Group which included creating logos, brochures, flyers etc and
also maintaining Joomla/PHP based company website. Here I have worked
intensively creating marketing materials for the company product. This
profile gave the opportunity to not only develop skills in a range of
areas, including proofreading, HTML/PHP/JavaScript coding and knowledge of
print media, but also to learn first-hand the importance of teamwork in a
fast-paced environment.
Prior to this profile I have worked as Web/Graphics Designer at Abacus Desk
Pvt. Ltd. Here I have designed websites/logos and helped developers with
dynamic PHP sites.
Furthermore, I have taught myself Final Cut Pro X/Avid Studio in order to
develop internal videos in event of marketing and internal functions. I
