effective mine planning and environmental management system
that incorporates GPS surveying, geological data, CAD, and

providing opportunities for expansion and diversification in
the aggregate and minerals mining industry. Managed the
development of new operations, expansions, modifications,
asset purchases and bolt on properties and businesses,
including securing the required permits and entitlements
resulting in the addition of significant reserves valuation
throughout the region. Integration of newly acquired
acquisitions into company environmental policies and
programs.
. Management of large scale state/federal wetland/wildlife
(ESA) permitting, relocation, mitigation and maintenance.
Developed a Sand Skink (endangered species)
relocation/exchange/research project in conjunction and
partnership with the University of South Florida (USF) and
Disney. The project involved financing a research project
with USF graduate students, in place of purchase of
mitigation credits which resulted in the avoidance of > $ 10
million dollars in cost and loss of mineable reserves.
. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with
all stakeholders in communities where CEMEX operates
aggregate facilities, including implementation of various
outdoor environmental classrooms for local schools, colleges
and universities. Stakeholders include neighbors; local,
state and federal elected officials; NGO partners and
regulatory staff personnel.
. Responsible for internal environmental training and
continuing education throughout the Eastern US. Responsible
for internal environmental auditing programs throughout the
Eastern US.
