instructions and records in importing business, steel, refractory and production manufacturing

proven ability to utilize statistical sampling plans for approval of incoming raw materials and

releasing finished products.

Working knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) to monitor production processes and

ability to identify and report deficiencies (data collection and plotting, quality database

maintenance)

Experienced in product verification procedures: preliminary testing in QC lab, participation in

scale-up, products testing and compilation of product verification reports.

Monitoring sampling sequence of incoming raw materials and manufactured products, setting up

and performing tests and inspections of production samples and finished products as specified in

control plans, record data, determining level of conformity to the specifications, reporting

deficiencies to the affected departments. Maintaining precise and complete quality records.

Proficiency with following tests for plastics: specific gravity, ash test, hardness, color matching,

viscosity, melt flow and rate (Extrusion Plastometer / Capillary Rheometer), tensile stress-strain,

tear resistance, curing rate and time, flammability, mould shrinkage, viscosity Mooney, etc;

Execution scheduled quality patrol inspections of production sectors and warehouse areas.

Collection of the quality data and compilation of scheduled quality reports.

Computer literate: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, proficiency with computerized test units,

ability to professionally use Internet and e-mail.

Evaluate data to validate or indicate deviation from existing standards. Communicate significant

Issue or developments identified during quality activities.

Read and follow daily production schedule and instructions, organize retain samples, collect and

check documents for incoming materials.

Demonstrable ability in all quality system auditing including customer and ISO auditing, 5S.

Uses standard measuring equipment, vernier caliper, micrometer, gages, and engineering

drawings.
