EXXONMOBIL INTER AMERICA, INC – Coral Gables, FL
Desktop Support Level II Analyst, (1997 to 2013) Worked as a Desktop Support level II
Analyst providing local and remote support to over 600 users located in the Coral Gables office
and several countries in the Caribe and Central America, replace hardware parts on servers, in
charge of purchasing computers and network equipment, configuring new desktops, laptops
using in house software loads. Install and repair LAN printers. Prepare annual budget reports
for all sites, perform Audit reviews for all data centers, preformed monthly software and hardware
inventory, document and escalate all network and server problems to level support III for rapid
solution using Remedy software. Provided support to the Telco department to setup new voice
over IP phone systems, replace end of life switches and routers, setup and configure new
blackberries to all users.
Selected Contributions:
In 1997 as a contractor, I was instrumental in bringing the Coral Gables computer room and
AS400 systems to compliance in preparation for external Controls audit. Given satisfactory
results of audit, I was contracted as an employee and promoted to Team Lead supervising 8
data center employees.

In 2001, I conducted compliance assessments of 13 Central American and Caribbean office computer rooms which
resulted in a satisfactory Audit rating.
In 2002 I consolidated and moved to the Coral Gables office all of the AS400 JDE full systems; inventory, payables,
receivables, etc.
In December 2011 I purchased all computer and network equipment; installed, commissioned, and trained employees in
a 3 week time frame at the new Esso Bahamas Airport Plant office. This task normally takes 3 to 4 months to
accomplish.
WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION/LASSCO – Miami, FL
Systems Analyst, (1992 – 1996) In charge of the M.I.S. department; setup new offices in the
Caribbean and Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela and Chile), ran AS400
Model E20, using the JBA application with 9 modules. Conducted performance tuning, capacity
planning, and Operating System upgrades. Maintained all hardware and software, also acquired
new technology available to improve daily functions. Traveled to Company offices in Latin
America and Caribbean to train employees in the use of JBA application on the AS400 as well
as PC applications such as MS Office, Fax system, and the Company’s own E mail system; CC

Assistant to M.I.S. Director (1990 1992) Responsible for the M.I.S. department; ran AS400
