Assistant Management

• Monical's - Managed the daily operations of the restaurant including managing food costs, personnel issues,

human resources, and direct assistant to the General Manager. Improved efficiency of employee processes

through time management, and re-training; which allowed the store to be able to close promptly, thus, improving

labor costs by 20%. This enabled the store to meet budgeted labor costs.

• - Assisted the Lead Interpreter for the state of Hawaii. Filled requirements for vacant interpreter positions, and

training of students in the sign language department. Helped organize activities and functions for the hearing

impaired for the state. Coordinated tours for foreign relations pertaining to the hearing impaired.

Sales/Telemarketing

• Midstate Siding & Windows - Cold calling to generate leads for the sales people, and trained to become

full-time sales person. Exceeded daily sales goals by an average of 40%. Still performed during the housing

market crisis.

• Fraternal Order of Police - Cold calling for donations, consistently averaging $550 per hour in donations, and

my phone calls were recorded in order to be used for training new employees.

Sign Language Interpreting

• University of Illinois, and Independent Contracting - University of Hawaii, Hawaii School for the Deaf, Pearl

City High School, Waimalu Elementary - General sign language interpreting for various classes ranging

from early childhood development through Quantum Calculus at the university level. Taught sign language,

interpreted for sporting events and after school functions, in-class interpreting and simultaneous note taking,

and interpreting music classes/performances for the hearing impaired. Was able to help a deaf/mute child

speak for the first time, when other people had failed before me.
