Industrial Engineer & Project Manager - Aero Space & Government Division.
Duties included the warehouse design, costing, sales presentation
preparation. In addition, became the Project Manager responsible for
building construction or modification, gathering software requirements,
written procedures for all activities of operation up to and including
final ISO certification in full operation.
. Project Lead on software solution developed to manage multi-
level bill of material packing requirements for a Centralized
Operation for Boeing. The project was completed on time and under

products markets. DMH acquired Focus Direct Inc. located in San Antonio
TX in 2004 increasing the total number of manufacturing facilities to six
in the USA.

As Director of Corporate Projects reported directly to the CEO/President
. Designed, programmed and integrated a bar code based automated
mail tray routing system.
. Project Manager for standardizing plants on a single software
application used for developing promotional and transactional on-
demand publishing applications.

Software Development/New Products Manager FOCUS DIRECT, Inc. San Antonio,

Responsible for the startup of edataTRACK, an Application Service
Provider (ASP) and database management division of Focus Direct Inc.
. Lead a Development team to create multiple Web based software
solutions for customers such as Verizon, Ralston Purina and St Jude
Shrine.
Operations Manager FOCUS DIRECT Inc. (1992 - 1999)
Responsibility for a variety of plant operations including Data
Processing, Laser Production, IT Development, MIS, Engineering and
Facility Maintenance. Sales increased from $4 to $25 million during this
period.
. Managed the start up of a Data Processing Center and High Speed
Laser Personalization Department.
. Implemented a JIT system on the highest volume production line
resulting in a reduction in cycle time from 3 days to 2 hours.

Responsible for the manufacturing of twenty plus automotive electronic
products. Managed a staff of 15 process engineers and 100 direct labor
employees with an $8.2 million operating budget.
. Reported to AIEG executives on P&L and Six Sigma performance
monthly on behalf of Plant Manager.
. Cross functional team member charged with producing Motorola's
first automotive part for Honda of America. The products cycle
time was the lowest in the division and meet Six Sigma quality
goals.
. Project Lead for the re-layout of plant equipment to facilitate
JIT (pull system) manufacturing techniques. A 31% reduction in
floor space with significant cycle time reduction across all
products was realized. The reduction of WIP also made a
significant impact to defect levels across the plant.
