express my interest in a Mechanical Engineering Technologist position and contributing

to the success of your company. I successfully completed the two year Mechanical

Engineering Technologist program in June of 2010 and have been fortunate to gain some

experience in the construction industry.

My previous role in my trade as a Detailer / Designer included drawing details o f

new steel structures, piping layouts, as builts and utilizing Auto CAD & 3D Auto CAD

software. My other responsibilities included estimating small jobs, P&ID’s, HVAC

projects, initiat ing meetings with multiple construction crews concerning drawings as

well as job planning and scheduling on different projects. This position was located at a

remote (fly in, fly out) mine site in Northern Saskatchewan.

Since my position in Northern Saskatchewan, I have moved to Alberta to gain

more experience in my field, and find a company to start my career with.
