EXPERIENCE:
707 – Present
Unfortunately real-world family bereavement etc has impacted my ability to Job-Search and whilst always researching about new releases I am relishing the thought to do some creative work again. This was further hampered by the requirement to be back in the U.K. For 5 years to obtain Security Clearance. However I have kept my skillset up attending Oracle Web Seminars on new developments in Oracle and Java as well as SQL Server.
Contributor to many Blogsites e.g. http://it.toolbox.com/people/mchughetal/achievements and http://www.oracleracsig.org/pls/apex/f?p=105:100 and http://searchoracle.techtarget.com/feature/Oracle-database-administrators-assemble-their-2013-Oracle-wish-list .
Like most Oracle enthusiasts I have 11g2 on my laptop with a plethora of software e.g. Apache, EasyPHP to name a few. I have a home network with VNC, VMWare running e.g. Linux, dot.net, Java and a suite of Open Source tools.
