PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Project: Toshiba America R12 upgrade and IFRS compliance

Toshiba group has taken a decision that all of their American business

units will move their financial module to a single global application GAIA

on their defined rollout dates. All the open AR balances, AP invoices and

Journals will be moved to that global instance. During the conversion all

the accounts will become IFRS compliant having eleven core segments in it.

Post the rollout the data will be maintained in both instances via

interface. Also for the transactional entities to function properly in the

global instance as a prerequisite all the master entities (Supplier,

Customer and Employee) will be migrated to the Global instance beforehand.

Role: Oracle Apps Technical Lead

Project: Air Liquide: Implementation/ Upgrade Evaluation

Air liquide Japan subsidiary comprises of 26% of Air liquide business. The

Japan subsidiary was working on an outdated version of SAP and wanted to

take the decision on their present IT infrastructure as in either to

upgrade their present SAP system or migrate to centralized R12 system. Our

focus was to evaluate the benefits and risk for both upgrade and

Implementation of R12 and also to provide them with estimation and project

execution plan.

Project: Apple Supply Chain Integration with IOP.

Apple Inc. wanted to implement a system that complements its Financial and

Supply Chain Integration. The main aim was to enable the alignment of key

operational plans with financial plans, thus helping make planning

decisions that are both financially desirable. As part of this project an

integrated business planning framework, that enables seamless metrics and

reports were created.

Project: Oracle Fusion Migration Tool Development

Oracle is planning to launch its new application called FUSION (which is

the best breed of all new technologies and ERP's). Infosys being the

technology partner of Oracle is developing this tool called Oracle Fusion

Migration Tool Development. In this tool we will be able to convert the

Oracle EBS, Siebel CRM or Peoplesoft HRMS data to Fusion database with the

help of ODI tool. Our focus was to create those standard templates, which

will help in converting the data in an easier and faster way.

Platform: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g, Functional Set Up Manager

Infosys. The project included maintenance and support of global component

post ANZ go-live.

functionality around the PO Domain. The work mainly comprises of creating

custom requirements around Ship and Debit and Price Protection modules of

Oracle Trade Management. The European rollout project included the regional

requirements catered by creation of Web ADI and PL\SQL interfaces.
