Chair kick-off meetings with all parties once P.O. has been awarded (common

u nderstanding)

Expedite and Monitor Materials and Services requested, consistently, adequately and

accurately

Preparing a detailed expediting scope based on Project Procurement Plan

The Review of Material Requisitions and definition of specific quality requirements and

supplier data submission requirements

Monitor supplier activities during the manufacture and shipment of products

Assist in problem resolution relating to engineering, materials, manufacture, or testing

p roblems with both supplier and sub suppliers. Take proactive role in identifying

possible problems

Coordinate with document control the obtaining and returning of vendor drawings/doc's

Expedite exchange of drawings, doc's, and schedules between home office and suppliers

Perform as liaison between Project Engineers and Vendors on delivery

Execute and assist with Materials Management

Update project team regarding equipment/material delays and follow up on supplier’s

p lan to restore schedule

Ensure Expediting Procedures are carried out as per Client requirements

Issuing of Project Expediting Reports

Ini tiate corrective action, as required, to assure delivery performance

Evaluating the claims raised by the contractors/manufacturers

Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, management, customers, support

organizations and project team

Perform delegated tasks as required
