• Responsible for working denials/errors in multiple work queues daily for worker’s
compensation claims as well as well over thirty “special programs” billed to government
entities such as vocational rehabilitation, crime victims, NC dept of public safety, tedi bear,
donor services, services for the blind, hospice agencies, home health and nursing facilities,
etc.
• Huge amount of research daily contacting insurance companies, state agencies and nursing
facilities, etc. in order to get claims paid in a timely manner. This includes daily use of
multiple state and other appropriate websites.
• Prepare claims (HCFA’s) with appropriate notes and other correspondences to forward to
claimant’s insurance on file.
