P roject: Online Banking Re-Platforming ( Feb 2013 – Cu r rent)

This p roject involves creating online banking platform from scratch. The legacy platform is

being phased out. Capital One’s acquisition of various entities like HSBC Cards, ING Direct, Hibernia

etc and their integration created the need for a brand new platform. The entire project involves over

$50 million and more than 20 teams. My responsibilities include leading and mentoring two teams of

about 20 people building certain modules of the platform. We built Check re ordering system, Internal

and External Transfers, and OFX – Online Financial Exchange etc. On the technology side, the

p roduct is built on Java.

● Leading two scrum teams in building a new online banking platform
