Project Manager – Municipal/Industrial Wastewater & City Water Plant
Managed internal and external technical teams and support staff while directly interfacing with site contractors, Owners, and
consultant engineers to order execute, most normally under very short schedules, the refurbish/upgrade of mechanical and
electrical components of functioning municipal WWTPs; $0.25-0.75MM ea. In addition, performed the similar tasks but for a
more extensive scope inclusive of SCADA, I&C, programming, and more for an extraordinarily large project; i.e. $8MM+, on-
line conversion expansion for 30MMgpd water output at Highland Park, IL water plant along Lake Michigan, adding over
125%+ capacity.
• Typical municipal projects’ required shipment durations which were always too short causing common long
delays. Yet, performed 85% on-time and the balance with no complaints or site disruptions. Worked on 12-17 projects
simultaneously
• Full 12mth pilot test mandated by IL EPA to assure results on stringent membrane water quality and biological
conditions. With careful managing of my teams and also via thorough bi-weekly reporting data to the IEPA, I was able
to obtain satisfactory completion and IEPA premature approval in only 3.5mths, i.e. saving hundreds of thousands of
costs and direct to added profitability
• With close monitoring of the water plant needs and assessing closely of commercial contract, guided team to
produce an additional $350k( 15%+) to the bottom line margin. Streamlined relations with the City and the jobsite with
more jobsite visits
• Consistent compliments from customers/owners/consultant that interface showed full attention to customer’s
satisfaction

Project Manager – Building Efficiency & Energy Improvements
Managed multiple projects ranging from $1MM to $16MM with total portfolio volume of up to $41MM. Projects included 17
Nation Guard Armories and two University of Wisconsin sites. Projects included HVAC improvements, which involved dealing
with variable air volumes (VAV), controls/sensors, interior and exterior lighting, building air balancing and steam usage.
Managed installation of computer automated controls of all water-steam-electricity usage. Measured and analyzed readings
before and after project completion to assure efficiencies were implemented. For every project, created project scheduler for
activities and deliverables to present for regular monthly written progress reports and status updates on financials, actions,
deliverables, and % complete.
• Generated an extra 45% margin-profit to bottom line on the initial $1.0MM project
• Generated an extra 25% margin/profit to bottom line on the next $2.3MM project
• On target to increase next $14.5 MM project’s margin by more than expected
• Improved relations with WI State government to help in capture of an additional $23MM on contracts

Senior Project Manager Industrial Desalination-Cogen Markets and Wastewater/Water
Managed international projects for process plant and human water consumption, oil and tar sand recovery/production and water
purification. Projects located primarily in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Alberta, Canada.
Coordinated all project custom engineering design, procurement, global fabrication contracts, site firms, prime contractors and
site construction general contractors. Projects ranged in size from $8MM to $19MM.
• Managed final fabrication in the UAE and complex transport routing through the Persian Gulf and Saudi desert of the
largest desalination plant built by AQT
• Recruited to help reorganize and complete this foreign project which was suffering potential negative profit and restored
cash-flow back to an acceptable and positive margin
• Generated new and comprehensive monthly financial and progress reports to all executives and team members for
comprehensive and clear communication which was significant in the financial recovery plan

Responsible for multifaceted project management, procuring and supporting of new business development including drafting
new proposals and sales. Key team player on a small staff of 5 located in the US partnering with staff and a support facility in

• Carefully set guidelines for this new business group to manage our local and remote staffs and performing all
procurement functions, globally, of the first project, valued at $6.5MM and helped produce over $0.75MM in extra

AQUA-CHEM, Milwaukee, WI 1979-2001 Supplier
of custom-engineered, designed and manufactured evaporator plants for industrial water/wastewater concentration and for
desalination water production. Plants were completely field erected and integrated for operation with mechanical components and
instruments to process millions of gallons per day year round.
Senior Project Manager/Project Manager, Water Technologies Division
Managed matrix teams on the design, manufacturing, procurement, contracts, scheduling, financials, installation by
subcontractors, and start-up through warranty period of evaporators and heat recovery systems. Reported directly to senior
management and communicated directly with customers on overall status of projects. Partnered with sales staff and process
engineers to generate pricing and scope of supply for proposals and negotiations of final contracts. Directly accountable for
profit goals, schedule, resource demands and customer satisfaction.
• Directed up to 6 teams simultaneously through various stages of execution on the international custom process projects
totaling of $21.6MM.
• Exceeded expected profit margins by +30% to 80% of projects.
• Met or improved deliveries for over 90% of projects and frequently received letters from customers indicating top

Responsible for sales of wide range of pre-assembled and fully automated evaporators from small to large capacities for water
producing markets of desalination, bottling and pharmaceutical insulin grade. Also sold custom built field erected desalination
evaporator plants.
• Held responsibility for all evaporator proposals, foreign agency representation and business logistics in each country for
all assigned territories.
• Prepared 5/10yr business plans and market absorption logistics, resulting in smoother sales process and customer
