SUMMARY I feel that after owning and operating my own
business for nearly 14 years I have some

2000 - 2013 RJT Enterprises Inc. / Comforting Angels,
Coffeyville, KS
Owned and operated Home Care and Transportation
business. I was responsible for the day to day
operations of the business. I was responsible
for new hire documentation, background checks,
payroll, and taxes. Work comp payments and work
comp claims. I took care of all garnishments and
payroll advances. I used pensoft payroll
software before switching to QuickBooks in 2005.
Responsible for work schedules as well as
scheduling appointment trips for 16 vehicles.
Responsibilities also included invoicing for
Private homes as well as HCBS programs. Taking
care of the accounts payable. Doing the
advertising as well as marketing to insure
business growth. Comforting Angels had at one
point up to 55 employees.
2000 - 2000 Crescent Oil Company, Independence, KS
Area Manager
Oversaw 8 of their JumpStart convenient stores.
I was responsible for store managers. Daily and
monthly register reports. Keeping merchandise at
the desired profit margins. Overseeing store
marketing and sales with vendors. Made sure that
the overall appearance met the requirements of
the brand the store was selling. Left to run our
business.
1996 - 2000 Golden Sky Systems DirecTV, Coffeyville, KS
Southeast Kansas Sales Manager
Was responsible for sales quotas getting met
while maintaining my own. Set up shows and
events at festivals, fairs, and local home and
garden shows. Would locate and coordinate areas
that sales could be made like Convenient stores,
parking lots, etc. Left due to company being
sold.
1994 - 1996 TCI Primestar Satellites, Coffeyville, KS
Asst. Sales Manager
Direct sales. Had the same responsibilities as
Golden Sky. Left for better opportunity at
DirecTV.
