to create an Enterprise data warehouse. Provided post implementation support, user acceptance and
training.
I-Care safety system design
As Project Manager and data warehouse architect, wrote technical specifications, designed and built from
scratch a system for capturing product safety related incidents across the business. Managed the front end
development team for successful deployment to 250+ retail locations and head office. Developed Safety
data warehouse integrated with Kmart data warehouse to provide organization wide accurate and timely
incident reporting saving the company multi million dollars in potential fines and penalties. Provided
comprehensive post implementation support and training to users across the organization.
Upgrade of Kmart data warehouse
As Technical Lead, planned and managed the upgrade of Kmart data warehouse involving DBMS
upgrade from Oracle 9i to 10g, UNIX OS move from AIX to HP UX and reporting applications upgrade
from Micro strategy version 8.1 to 9.0 while ensuring no disruption to users across the organization.
Detachment as SQL Server Database Administrator
