. Configured NetApp and Dell SANs storage arrays for all shared drives,

datastores and backup devices. Created NFS Shares and LUNS for VM

client images and data storage.

. Virtual infrastructure design and implementation - Deployed a country

wide VMWare implementation across twelve sites each consisting of: ten

ESXi 4.1 clustered host servers, vCenter running in a clustered

environment enabling Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) across the

resource pool and High Availability for failover. Created templates

for deploying VM clients, migrated existing physical servers via VM

Converter (P2V) reducing the power, cooling, logistics costs, and

physical equipment footprint which combined together for a significant

cost savings.

. Designed and implemented enterprise systems infrastructure with

technologies consisting of Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2 Domain

Controllers and members servers providing the following services:

As the IT Systems Consultant my duties and responsibilities include, but

are not exclusive to:

. SQL Database conversion for a major Real Estate investment company

with over 20years of data and an excess for $100 Billion in assets.

Converted legacy system data from Access, Excel, and Oracle to SQL

2005 system using Data transfer tools, SSIS, T-SQL scripts, SQL Import

and Export function.

. Managed 2000/2005 SQL Server infrastructure consisting of 40+ servers.

Created and maintained all maintenance plans, performed backup &

restores, monitored user and job activity and scheduled jobs.

. Installed/upgraded and migrated all versions of SQL Server. Work with

and trained clients and employees in SQL setup, SQL account creations,

Maintenance plans, SSAS/SSRS installs, SSRS website policies, SQL

performance issues and troubleshooting SQL Jobs.

. Worked with external clients on Server hardware recommendations for

upgrading or migrating to new SQL systems to best fit their database

and company needs.

. Planned and implemented company training environment, improving the

Training environment utilized a SQL 2005 backend running over 100

Citrix Xenapp 5 for Windows 2003 used the Application streaming to

build application profiles for Client use on the external Citrix web

site. Setup and supported environment to include application

publishing, user account access, web environment setup, VMware setup

of desktop and server environments.

. Managed multiple IIS Web servers utilizing server clustering and load

balancing, to improve network traffic and bottleneck processor

overloads.
